Why should I service my pump station?

Waste water and sewage is a challenging environment for even the most robust pumps and equipment, an AES servicing plan will ensure that your pumping station and associated equipment is regularly checked and operating correctly, offering you peace of mind and at the same time limiting the possibility of unexpected and costly breakdowns.

We have our own team of on-site engineers to carry out planned servicing and emergency breakdown response for your pumping station.

Did you know? The owner of a property served by a private pumping station that is located within the property boundaries is responsible for the pumping station and the rising main (pipework) to the point where it connects to the main sewer. Property owners have a legal responsibility to ensure their pumping station is fully functionally and does not pose an environmental threat.

What about the Sewers for Adoption Scheme? If a private pumping station serves a single property or is centrally managed and serves multiple buildings within a commercial or industrial park (and resides within the property boundary), then it will mostly likely not have been adopted under the sewers for adoption (SfA) scheme and remains your responsibility. If in doubt please contact your local water company.
